The latest buzzword in silicon town is HTML5.  While many debate about whether HTML5 is future of web technology or not, it’s wise to check out the HTML5 party happening right now. I have put together list of 5 resources that would be a good starting point to begin using the technology right now.

5th revision from the W3C so far, new elements are introduced and new features are added to help web developers.

This fantastic and informative was blog made by some coworker in the U.S. in collaboration with Sourceforge.

As the slogan says "helping you implement HTML5 today",HTML5 doctor features regular articles and tutorials about HTML5, with an emphasis on aspects of the emerging standards in the industry.

I love books and this is the reason I have added it to my list. Its a good place to learn HTML specs in depth.

TML5 cheat sheet in PDF format that you can download and print out for your personal use

HTML5 Rocks is good resource for developers looking to put HTML5 to use today.

This great resource helps you choose and look up features of HTML5.

The Chrome experiments use HTML, JavaScript and CSS to demonstrate the functionality and feature-set. It’s basically a Mozilla’s HTML 5 playground.
